why do we make christmas celebration a big feast but not easter?
Bywell, of course we should celebrate christmas though but i’ve been wondering why Easter celebration is not celebrated in a way how we celebrate christmas?
we know that christmas is when jesus christ, our saviour was born… and it is a good thing we made christmas a big feast…
but, how bout easter? easter is when jesus christ was risen and that was the day that he forgave our sins… and why should not it be a big feast just like christmas?
anyway, no offence okay… i was just wondering… and maybe some of the answers are revelant… yup…

we have actually have a bigger dinner at easter because it’s a bigger family get-together. it’s a pitch in so there’s more then plenty to eat!
and in case you didn’t notice, easter decorations are colorful too. bright purples, pinks, blues and yellows. i do have yard decorations for easter.

well its because christmas is all about marketing, big businesses have taken the idea of the three kings bringing gifts and turned it into a gift giving holiday, which is not bad. now, all of these businesses have to make christmas into a huge holiday because they want to sell more and make more money. I agree with you that easter is very important but its more stressed for christians, christmas has been made into this world holiday just so corporations can make more money

You are correct. Easter is the holiest Christian holiday. I personally adore Easter. I despise what Christmas has become socially, not the holiday. I do give Easter gifts to my daughter. Easter is the time of year to rejoice. Because, Jesus has completed the prophecies and proved Himself to be both Human and God.
